Fluoroscopy Multifield Intensification - Video Lesson
The multi field and single field image intensifiers are similar in design. But they do differ in how they operate internally. Multi field intensifiers typically have a larger input phosphor than single field units. Larger input field sizes necessarily require a longer dimension from input phosphor and output phosphor. So in this example, we are illustrating a nine inch and a six inch input field size as a dual mode system. The input foster diameter is nine inches, but it can be used in a six inch mode. So what does this mean? The user can select the nine inch field size and perform routine fluoroscopy. The anatomical coverage area will be approximately nine inches on the floral image. Selecting
