Frame Averaging - Video Lesson
What is frame averaging? A common imaging method in pulse fluoroscopy is a digital video technique known as frame averaging. It's a function of the image capture system and does not affect X-ray current. Frame averaging functions like a video where individual frames are combined into a sequence and then displayed using a particular frame rate. In order to understand frame averaging, we need to first understand the problem it solves, image noise. Image noise is the random variation of pixel brightness or color information on images.
