Standard fluoroscopic procedures often are performed on a sophisticated rate system that can perform both radiographic and fluoroscopic exams. These designs are often referred to as RF systems and the largest percentage of x-ray procedures are done using this type of equipment. These RF rooms Many times also have an upright receptor holder attached to the wall to perform chest x rays and various upright x-ray exams. This happens when a sealing suspended x-ray tube is positioned and directed at the patient against the upright holder.
