MRI Thoracic (Sagittal) - Video Lesson
Welcome back. This sectional anatomy tutorial is on the thoracic spine. This time, we'll be looking at the thoracic spine in an MRI scan in the sagittal view. In this first view of the thoracic spine, you'll notice that we're actually seeing more than just the thoracic spine. This is actually the base of the cranium, and so the first seven vertebrae here are actually the cervical spine. Below that though, we are looking at the thoracic spine. There's a few things on here that are easily identified. First, we can clearly see the tibril bodies of several vertebrae.
