Cross-Sectional Anatomy and Pathology

The Cross-Sectional Anatomy and Pathology course includes an overview of all major anatomy and pathologies visualized within imaging.

Topics covered include: an anatomy review for each body section with slice-by-slice explanations for CT and MRI imaging. Pathologies such as cancer, traumatic injuries, chronic diseases, and idiopathic conditions are all discussed in detail and visualized through multi-plane imaging.

• List the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal system anatomy. 

• Discuss pathologies of the head, spine, and musculoskeletal systems.

• Describe pathologies of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and central nervous systems.

• Describe diseases and pathologies of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and hepatobiliary systems.

• Recognize pathologies affecting pediatric patients.
