Hey, everybody. Welcome back. This lesson is about two related concepts in digital radiography. Dynamic range, and exposure latitude. These two concepts relate to the exposure capabilities of image receptors, and the role they play in image quality and patient dose. Let's start a discussion with dynamic range. Dynamic range has a very specific definition. It's the range of exposure values that can be captured by an image receptor. An image receptor can capture a wide range of exposure values. But not all exposure values.
