Spatial Resolution (Digital Image Factors) - Video Lesson

Hey, everybody, and welcome back. This lesson is about the digital image factors that affect the spatial resolution of the radiographic image. Most importantly, we're discussing the digital matrix and pixels. The information captured by the image receptor is converted to a digital image. All digital images, including those captured by cell phones are composed of tiny squares of information called picture elements or pixels. All of the pixels together are called the Matrix. This is a little confusing, but radiographic imaging actually involves three different matrices.
