Elbow - Special Views - Video Lesson

In this view, we will be demonstrating the AP partial flexion humorous. The AP partial flexion humorous should be performed with the patient seated at the end of the radiographic table. With the image receptor placed tabletop with a forty inch source to image distance and no tube acylation. This is partial flexion of the elbow. This is when a person cannot fully extend their arm for a routine elbow view. So we're gonna get two views to accomplish one AP. So you're gonna get a partial of the forearm and a partial of the humerus. So we got two views to do. So first one, the patient has her arm as open as she possibly can. We're gonna send her on the elbow joint, and this is perpendicular to the humerus. So we are going to see the distal humerus and the elbow joint.
