Imaging Considerations for Medical Disorders - Video Lesson

Hey everybody, welcome back to our course on MRI patient care. In this lesson, we will discuss imaging considerations for medical disorders. Seizures, diabetic reactions like hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, and vertigo are three clinical situations a medical professional may encounter in the imaging suite. Your ability to identify their signs, understand their causes, and respond appropriately can significantly impact patient outcomes and ensure the safety of both patients and staff. Let's get started. First, let's discuss seizures in MRI patients. Seizures can range from subtle alterations in consciousness to full body convulsions. Recognizing them quickly is vital. Key signs include sudden loss of consciousness or unresponsiveness, involuntary muscle jerking or twitching, staring spells or fixed gaze lip smacking or repetitive movements or sudden confusion
