X-table Lateral Hip - Video Lesson

Originally, when we filmed this lesson in or, we had problems with the dosimeter, and we were only able to make a few exposures at four foot from the patient. Our goal had been to measure scatter at various distances and angles. Comparing the doses between the surgeon and tech side of the table. We weren't able to get the video team back into the or to film again. So we re perform the lesson and photograph it. This new material will be presented with photos and voiceover. When we were editing, we decided not to use the footage shot at forefoot as no one on the surgeon's side of the table is ever that far from the X-ray tube. Now we'll demonstrate dose from scatter at eighteen inches, which is about the distance a surgeon nurse or scrub works
