Fundamentals of Fluoroscopy

The Fundamentals of Fluoroscopy course offers an overview of the equipment involved in fluoroscopic imaging procedures and the modes of operation and radiation safety considerations for patients and healthcare workers. The video lessons discuss the physics and operation of the imaging chain, compare mobile and stationary R/F, fluoroscopic image quality, exposure factors, and radiation safety. 

Topics include: flat panel detectors, image intensifiers, automatic brightness control, pulsed fluoroscopy, brightness gain, grids, spot imaging, last image hold, ISO curves, and multi-field intensification.
