Toes - Video Lesson

In this view, we will be demonstrating the AP fifth digit of the foot. The AP fifth digit of the foot should be performed with the patient seated or lined on the radiographic table with the image receptor placed tabletop, a forty inch source to image distance and no tube angulation. We're gonna x-ray the fifth digit of the foot. I have the patient seated on the table. I have her shield it. I have the IR on the tabletop in the long of her foot down the long axis of the IR. We're gonna center on the fifth toe. So we're gonna place our right marker in the field of view. We're gonna use forty inches SID. We're gonna collimate an inch around the toes and including the marker. Patient's gonna hold very still and an AP view of the fifth
