Hey, everybody. Welcome back in this video about quality control. We're talking about the image display system. But first, let's make sure we haven't lost track of the big picture. Every element, every process, and every component of a radiological procedure has to be tested to ensure it's properly functioning. This includes the X-ray tube system, This is like our centering and distance and collimation tests. Also, the receptor system itself has to be tested. And then finally, what we're talking about in this lesson is the display system. We have to make sure the image is displaying correctly on the radiologist reading monitor. So first, let's talk about this. Monitor calibrations. Each monitor must be calibrated to the Dicom Grayscale standard display function, sometimes abbreviated GSDF. So what's that talking about?
