Hey, everybody. Welcome back. In this video, we're talking about the most common positioning errors in radiography. There are several factors that can cause positioning errors, such as the to position, the part position, Also, the receptor position, and even the collimation can influence and cause positioning errors in radiography. Let's take a look at a few examples and see if you can identify the problems. When you look at this AP radiograph of the hip, what do you see the wrong. I'll give you a minute to see if you can figure out what the answer is. In this image, we see foreshortening of the femoral neck. And that's caused by incomplete inversion or pronation of the left leg. That's why the neck of the femur here looks shorter than it should be.
