Sacroiliac Joints - Video Lesson

In this view, we will be demonstrating the AP Sacroiliac joints. The AP sacraliliac joints should be performed with the patient lying supine on the table. With a forty inch source to image distance and a thirty to thirty five degree cephalic tube angulation. Depending on sex or body habitus. We're gonna start with the AP first. My IR is in the bucky tray, and I'm going to use a pretty substantial angle of thirty five degrees. We are gonna use a central right that is one and a half inches above the pubic symphysis, or still gonna use the mid sagittal plane. I'm gonna wiggle her right toe to be able to find the greater trochanter, that will tell me where the plane of the pubic symphysis is. And I wanna go an inch and a half above that.
