Inverse Square Law III - Video Lesson

This is the final video in the inverse square law series. In this video, we'll be working through one final word problem. The exposure rate to an individual standing ten feet away from a radiation source is eighteen miller rankings an hour. If the person moved fifteen feet away from the source of radiation, what would be the radiation intensity received after thirty minutes? In this problem, we are now trying to discover what the new intensity would be after an interval of time. I have pulled the givens out of the problem and placed them next to their appropriate parameters. I went ahead and worked out most of the math. If you were not a hundred percent clear of how I got these answers, I highly recommend going back to the inverse square law videos one and one point two. As you can see here, our multiplication shows us that x equals eight, millerink is an hour. Unfortunately, we're not done with the problem since the problem is asking us
