How Radiation Changes with Increased SID - Exit Dose - Video Lesson

For this exercise, We wanna show you how the dose changes when the SID or the OID also changes. So right now, as you can see, We have the ion chamber on top of the patient. Now, of course, the x-ray is coming from the bottom up, so this is an exit dose. And we have it right on top right now. So we'll do one exposure, but we're gonna do these exposures for one minute. And we know a lot of times, you know, a case can go a lot longer than a minute, but we just thought that's a perfect amount of time is to show you how much dose is going on and how it's gonna change when that aye aye starts getting higher. So we're gonna do the first one right on the patient, The second one will be halfway up. It's right about five and a half to six inches, and then the last one will be all the way up, which is right around eleven and a half to twelve inches.
