CT Cerebrum & Cerebellum - Video Lesson
Hey everybody, welcome back. This lesson is about the cerebrum and cerebellum of the brain as seen in CT imaging. This is a sagittal reformation of the brain. In the graphic in the lower left side of the image, you can see this image is midsagittal. This image is also reconstructed in the standard algorithm. The algorithm has a smoothing effect on the image, which is very useful when imaging the soft tissues of the brain. There is a decrease in spatial resolution, but also a decrease in image noise. We've also displayed this image in the standard windowing technique for looking at the brain. That's about eighty window width and thirty window level. The frontal lobe is the most anterior aspect of the cerebrum. The frontal lobes are positioned below the frontal bone. The parietal lobe is the middle segment of the cerebrum. The parietal lobes are below the parietal bones. The frontal lobe is separated from the parietal lobes by the central fissures on each side of the brain. The structure is all
